Your Place

Everyone has their place in time and life, each as important as the other. So stop comparing their role to yours and feeling either inferior or superior. The roles simple are. They don’t make you you make it.

If you love writing
In rhymes, keep that light
Don’t give up that fight
Unless it’s a situation of fight or flight,
right?

If paragraphs tickle you fancy, write pages full of them overflowing into books.

“You may tell a tale that takes up residence in someone’s soul, becomes their blood and self and purpose. That tale will move them and drive them and who know what they might do because of it, because if your words. That is your role, your gift.”

The Night Circus, Erin Morgenstern

If real Life happening turns the cog of your wheels, by God, pen that. If inking new worlds full of fictional beings going through life wonders, adventures and everything in between share that magic.

If tickling people with words full of humor and yet deep with meaning gives you immense pleasure and joy, continue making them laugh.

Know your space and place. Be comfortable in it. Feel free to fly away from the coup when you want to. You dictate the rules of your place and space.
